Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of services provided by Scott Hall Catering ("SHC," "we," "us," or "our"), including our website, communications, and catering services. By engaging SHC or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
Services
SHC provides catering, event coordination, staffing, and related hospitality services. Specific services, pricing, and deliverables for each engagement are set out in your event services agreement.
Bookings and Payment
Event bookings are confirmed upon signature of an event services agreement and receipt of any deposit specified therein. Final payment, cancellation terms, and guest count deadlines are governed by your signed agreement.
SMS Messaging Program
By providing your mobile phone number to SHC — whether on a quote request, event services agreement, contractor or staff onboarding form, or verbally during a booking conversation — you consent to receive SMS messages from SHC related to your event, scheduling, account, customer support, and operational coordination.
- Message frequency: varies based on your event and our coordination needs.
- Cost: Message and data rates may apply. SHC does not charge for the messages themselves; standard rates from your mobile carrier apply.
- Help: Reply HELP at any time, or contact info@scotthallcatering.com or [PHONE].
- Opt out: Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages thereafter.
- Carriers: Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Privacy: Your mobile information is handled per our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share mobile opt-in data with third parties for marketing.
Consent to SMS is not a condition of purchase of any goods or services.
Cancellations and Changes
Cancellation, postponement, and change-of-scope policies are governed by your signed event services agreement. Where the agreement is silent, deposits are non-refundable, and changes within 14 days of an event are subject to approval and may incur additional fees.
Liability
SHC's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific event giving rise to the claim. SHC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Allergies and Dietary Restrictions
You are responsible for communicating all guest allergies and dietary restrictions to SHC in writing in advance of your event. While we take reasonable precautions, our kitchen handles common allergens (including nuts, dairy, eggs, soy, wheat, and shellfish), and we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
Photography
SHC may photograph events for portfolio, marketing, and social media purposes unless you notify us in writing that you decline. Photographs do not include personally identifying information about guests beyond their image.
Force Majeure
Neither party is liable for failure to perform due to causes beyond reasonable control, including weather, natural disaster, government action, illness, or supply disruption. In such cases the parties will work in good faith to reschedule or adjust services.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in [COUNTY] County, South Carolina.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
